At Coastal Audiology, we continually strive to bring you the best products for your specific communication difficulties. Our Audiologist frequently participates in continuing education activities to stay up-to-date on current hearing instrument technology. We routinely fit products from The Big 6 well-known manufacturers to offer you a variety of solutions based on your hearing loss, lifestyle, budget, and communication needs. We offer Bluetooth hearing aids and wireless devices to help you keep up in this fast-paced world. For those who would prefer non-wireless options, we have those available as well. 

Below you will find a brief overview of a few of the products we offer. Not all of the products featured may be appropriate for your degree of hearing loss. Please call our office at (912) 748-9494  to schedule an appointment so we may test your hearing and discuss what may be best for your individual situation.

Hearing Aid Demonstrations

If it is determined after your comprehensive hearing test that hearing aids are needed, we have demonstrations units appropriate for most hearing losses that we can customize for you, allowing you to actually hear what hearing aids can do for you.

Additionally, we have the ability to reprogram and repair devices from many other manufacturers. Special Considerations when Selecting Hearing Aids:

There are many factors to consider when selecting the right hearing aids for you. The information provided above is not a substitute for a comprehensive hearing evaluation and consultation.  At Coastal Audiology, we spend time discussing things such as:

            -How often are you in background noise, such as in a
             restaurant?
            -Are you frequently in environments where you perspire?
            -Are you self-conscious about the cosmetic aspect of hearing
             devices?

These are just a few of the important questions that come up during a hearing evaluation at Coastal Audiology that other facilities never bother to ask you. We are committed to finding the solution that best suits you, first based upon your hearing loss, then considering lifestyle, budget, and your listening needs.

Flex:trial

Flex: trial puts you directly in the driver's seat by letting you try the technology level recommended in your hearing evaluation for your own life, no strings attached. Flex:trial devices are programmed with your prescription and settings. After a length of time decided by you in conjunction with your Audiologist (typically 2-4 weeks), you can decide if amplification is right for you, if you wish to change to a different technology level, as well as what technology level is right for you based on details discovered during your trial.  Contact us for more information to determine if Flex:trial is right for you!

Flex:upgrade

With Flex: upgrade, you will never feel locked into any decision, knowing you can upgrade your hearing instruments to another technology level at any time. Changing needs don’t need to be a source of  anxiety for you. This has proven to be a great plan for individuals who ultimately want a higher technology but need to pay for it over time without financing through a third party such as Care Credit

Assistance/Discount Programs

Coastal Audiology is please to work with the Georgia Lions Lighthouse Foundation. The GLLF Hearing Aid Program serves both children and adults who qualify based on their application criteria. 


The Georgia Lions Lighthouse Foundation, a division of Lions Club International, helps bring hearing aids and eyeglasses to individuals who meet financial eligibility requirements. Beginning November 2007, all hearing aids provided to patients through the Lighthouse will be new hearing aids with a 3 year repair warranty. Their vendor partners represent the most popular manufacturers in the US.
